Beef, Hide and Horn

Here at Grange Hill Farm we believe in sustainable and ethical use of our coos. Highland beef is an amazing resource and we should celebrate its use. Such a versatile breed, highland beef has some really amazing properties. You can read Here why Highland Beef is the best!

Whilst as a working farm we send stock to market like all others, we also like to offer a paddock to plate line of high quality beef products.

Periodically we will have bulk beef for sale. Please use the contact form below to express your interest and we will add you to our list for future supply.

Our Highland Beef is 100% grass fed, raised and processed locally here in the Kentish Region of Tasmania. We use a waitlist system for our beef due to our small scale and the nature of our product. To ensure high quality- our animals lead the best life until they are ready for processing. Animals are only processed once the entire animal is sold. We encourage (but not mandatory) our customers to take their share of dog bones, offal and fat. By using the entire animal we show respect and minimize waste.

Our Beef shares are perfect for those who want beef that is ethically produced, has low food miles, maximized waste reduction and the financial benefit of bulk buy prices. Beef share prices are based on the animals dressed weight. Beef shares come in 1/8, ¼ ,½ Beast or a Full Beast.

As we endevour to use our entire animal we have Highland Hides and Horns available for purchase on special request from time to time. If we any hides or horns in stock you can find them below.
